It's safe to assume quite a number of you are familiar with and if not then you're probably familiar with the series which seemed to skyrocket the sites popularity; James Rolfe's ‘Angry Videogame Nerd'. Starting out as an independent filmmaker, Rolfe intended for his earliest videos of the Nerd character to be a joke privately shown to his friends. Your more serious videos are like if the character of the AVGN, but on benzos. There have been so many James and I have played since The Angry Video Game Nerd started.

Collaborative friend Mike Matei helped in producing and publishing the videos on Cinemassacre, and released outside of the website as "The Quickies" tape, part of a four VHS tape set called the "Cinemassacre Gold Collection".
